Commission Vacancies
If you would like to become a volunteer with the commission, please attend a meeting as soon as you are able, or contact one of the commissioners. We have openings in the following positions:
| Committee Chairman: | Leads the Western Days Commission meetings and acts as liaison with the City of Independence as necessary. |
| Sponsorships Coordinator: | Communicates with local area businesses to generate income by promoting and selling sponsorships for the Western Days event. |
| Volunteer Coordinator: | Recruits and coordinates volunteers to work in different capacities with the commission. |
| Other Volunteers: | We always have a need for additional volunteers to help out during the event and to help with set-up and tear-down of the event. |
